Interaction is awesome on websites and blogs, but not every page needs to allow chitter-chatter from your visitors. Disabling comments on a WordPress page is a simple 3 step process:


At the top right of your page, click “SCREEN OPTIONS”

You have now expanded your screen options. Check the boxes for “Discussion” and “Comments.”

Scroll to the very bottom of your page. You will now have two new sections. Now you can disable comments as well as disable pingbacks/trackbacks if you wish.

Update your page and you are all done!

  1. If you want to have comments in your blog posts, then leave the comments on in Settings Discussion. Then in order to disable comments in Pages, delete
